HIGH PROFILE DEAL REINFORCES ST ANDREWS BUSINESS PARK AS ‘CITY’S PREMIER BUSINESS PARK’

Published 22 October 2023

A newly-refurbished office building on Norwich’s St Andrews Business Park has been let to one of the UK’s largest holiday lettings companies, in a move which has been described ‘reinforcing St Andrews Business Park’s standing as the city’s premier business park’.

Lancaster House, a 13,458 sq ft two storey office building on St Andrews Business Park, will be occupied by Travel Chapter, a Devon-based travel company which recently acquired the Norfolk-based Original Cottage Company, which counts Norfolk Cottages and Suffolk Secrets amongst its brand.

The company is understood to be moving various local offices under one roof to create a large regional hub at St Andrews Business Park.

Lancaster House is a high specification office building which was refurbished in 2022.  It has 13,458 sq ft of accommodation across two floors, as well as 65 on-site parking spaces.  The building was formerly occupied by NPS Group.

Guy Gowing, managing partner of Arnolds Keys which negotiated the new lease, said, ”This letting reinforces St Andrews Business Park’s standing as the city’s premier business park, bringing another nationally-important company to the campus.

“It also supports the landlord’s decision to design and construct buildings to a high specification with traditional materials, as well as continually investing in the park to provide new services such as air conditioning and electric vehicle charging points.

“As an agent we have worked with the landlord on a longstanding basis, and our understanding of their needs, as well as the needs of potential occupiers, has resulted in a  number of high-profile letting deals over recent years.”

Mike Newby, head of facilities & logistics at Travel Chapter commented, “The Travel Chapter team is delighted to have acquired the lease on Lancaster House and we look forward to relocating to these new facilities in the near future, enabling our continued business development.

“Guy Gowing of Arnolds Keys has worked very closely with us as we sought to find the right facility to suit our needs and his regular updates enabled us to be ready to act once Lancaster House came into our view.”

Amongst existing businesses located at St Andrews Business Park are Price Bailey, Perenco, Oxbury & Co, HM Revenue & Customs, Cape Plc, NFU Mutual, External Services, Williams Lea, Perfect Placement, and Flooring Supplies.
