At Arnolds Keys we believe in giving back to the community so each year we set out to raise as much money as possible for our chosen charity.

All of the staff participate in fundraising activities but we also try and run three to four public events to try and tease all those last pennies out!

Last year was a hugely successful year and due to lots of support and hard work, we raised a whopping £9393.33 for AGE UK NORFOLK.

We don’t want to stop there, we'd like to go from strength to strength and hope to raise even more in 2018.

We are absolutely delighted to be supporting the East Anglian Air Ambulance as our Charity of the Year and have several fundraising events planned. More information about the charity is below.

Please do also keep an eye on the Arnolds Keys facebook page for all the events – here’s to a great 2018!

EAST ANGLIAN AIR AMBULANCE

We aim to provide the best possible outcomes for people unfortunate enough to be involved in life changing incidents or medical emergencies.

What makes us special is the combination of a rapid response time and advanced critical care on scene – essentially we bring an A&E department to people when they need it most. Where necessary and appropriate, we are also able to transfer a patient to the hospital most suitable for their needs, much quicker than by road.

We have two helicopters based in Norwich and Cambridge and are able to fly at night. We also have Rapid Response Vehicles (RRV) which carry the same equipment and skill as the helicopters but are for missions closer to our bases, or where a helicopter may not be able to land.

In December 2017 we were called out 224 times, with 91 of those being in Norfolk. Our most frequent call outs are to cardiac arrests and road traffic collisions – both of which need expert care on scene as quickly as possible.

We are so grateful to Arnolds Keys for choosing to support us in 2018. Our missions costs an average £3,500 and we receive no Government funding. Without companies like Arnold Keys, we wouldn’t be able to keep our helicopters in the sky. Together, we save lives.
