Jan is Residential and Operations Partner for Arnolds Keys having responsibility for the Residential Department, Business Management, Human Resources, IT and Quality Assurance under ISO9001.  Jan’s background is in residential property, lettings and investments and she holds an MBA, as well as Fellowships of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), the National Association of Estate Agents (FNAEA), the Association of Residential Lettings Agents (FARLA), the National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers (FNAVA) and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (Assoc CIPD).

Jan is well known on the national residential property and estate agency scene, and in 2013/14 was President of the National Association of Estate Agents – the country’s leading professional body for the residential estate agency profession.  She sits on the Board of the National Federation of Property Professionals, the National Advisory Council of the Guild of Professional Estate Agents, and the National Residential Forum for RICS, as well as the RICS East of England Board.

Jan also represents the property industry on the Ombudsman Services (Property) Liaison Panel, which is the complaints redress scheme for the property profession.  Well known for her extensive knowledge and common sense views on the property profession, she regularly contributes in the printed media, and on national TV and radio, presents across the country at  industry conferences, and is a facilitator and speaker at events across the country.

A keen musician, in her spare time Jan plays trumpet and flugelhorn with brass quintet ‘Top Brass’. She has also played in various orchestras, big bands, and brass bands and live musical shows, in the region and beyond. As well as music, she enjoys cooking, theatre and walking, mainly on the Norfolk and Suffolk coast, and also in the Lake District, from where she hailed, before moving to Norfolk in 1984.

Jan is married with twin daughters.
